A Newbie's Needle Felting Creations

I finally got to try my hand at needle felting. How cool is that! Take roving, stab it with a needle and voila! Here are the two things I made.
A frog - incase it's not obvious:) Poor frogger was man handled (well boy handled really) before I managed to get his picture taken, so he's a bit worse off then he started, but you get the idea. I received a kit to make him over the holidays.

And this is my gnome. But he's not finished yet. Still a work in progress.

Oh Froggy is my favorite! WTG loopy! For a first effort these are both wonderful. I hope I get to try some needle felting soon too.

Not bad for a newbie!! I have purposely been avoiding trying needle felting. I SO don't need another addiction.

Really cute! You did a great job... I am sure there will be lots of new little needle felted critters in your future :-)

Thanks for all the super compliments! It was so fun to make. I'm looking forward to having more time to finish Gnome.

No M, I don't think they'll make there way into my Etsy shop.
