A Newbie's Needle Felting Creations

I finally got to try my hand at needle felting. How cool is that! Take roving, stab it with a needle and voila! Here are the two things I made.

A frog - incase it's not obvious:) Poor frogger was man handled (well boy handled really) before I managed to get his picture taken, so he's a bit worse off then he started, but you get the idea. I received a kit to make him over the holidays.

And this is my gnome. But he's not finished yet. Still a work in progress.

Hats, hats & pirate sweater

Here are two ladybug hats I did for a custom order:









The Bumble bee hat I made similar to the ladybugs:












The first apple hat I made. I've since made another, slightly smaller with a green stem & no worm.










And the first of two frog hats I made. Each one is slightly different, but the other one is smaller.











The pirate sweater I made for Carter. I'm currently making another one that is black and has a pale pink skull on it, with no white square. I just finished the front but will post a picture once it's completed.
