Fit for a Clown

I had a customer buy a hat from me awhile ago. She's a clown. She recently contacted me to make her some more hats and a poncho/caplette. Here's what I'm sending her. I love the bright colours. On occasion buyers will email me pictures of them wearing my hats and stuff. I love it! I would love to see this customer in her clown costume.

The caplette isn't given any justice in this picture. It's really quite cute.

This is another custom order hat I made - great colour choices. Makes me think of fall and apple picking season.

A Product Featured!

I'm pretty excited about this. I just found out that one of my items (cupcake lipbalm keychain cozies) is featured on a website. Check it out:

Off the hook

A few of the items that have come off my hook lately:

I have a lot of people ask why I don't make lip balm cozies for the tubes and not just the tubs. I actually do. I just have so many things on the go that I usually only make them when I have a special request for one. Here was one of those requests.

This hat is kind of new for me too. I haven't had a chance to list any but I've been working away making some of them in various sizes and colours. It's the basic flapper beanie I make, but the scalloping on this is a bit more fancy. More flower like I guess.

Vancouver Bound

I made some items to send to a high end Vancouver boutique. Hopefully there's a market in Vancouver for my wears. I sent them 2 collar scarves, 3 scarflettes, 2 visor beanies and a flapper beanie (not pictured). I actually sent them off a couple weeks ago so maybe there are already people walking around the streets of Vancouver sporting some Loopy wear.

New things for a new year

I've been working on hats that have a bit more lacy scalloped edge. I haven't finished any though with flowers and I don't have any pictures of them. I think they're really cute though.

I was asked to make a lip balm cozy key chain to resemble a ladybug. This is how it turned it out
The scarflettes were very well received this year. I didn't stock too many since I wasn't sure how they'd sell, but they did sell. So I've been experimenting a bit more and came up with these two scarflettes that are a still warm and cover your neck, but are a bit more like a collar.

And of course the never ending beanies. I get some requests for some neat color combinations that I just never would have thought to make on my own. Here's one that I made, the picture isn't the greatest since I took it at night, but it's navy blue with an orange flower.

Happy Holidays

I was just looking through the last couple posts and can't believe I didn't post a picture of this cute hat. I loved how it turned up and it was snatched pretty quickly when I listed it by an amazing artist Dre . I've picked up some really great pictures for her and still plan on having her do another one for me whenever we get around to having the basement finished. I'm in the process of making 2 more. One that is shades of green and one in shades of blue. They're 100% wool and light weight. Of course Pompoms are added for extra fun:)

I've also been working more scarflettes. They've been a great seller online. The shorter ones I've made are a bit versatile. The blue and brown one is the first time I've taken a picture of it this way, but many of the ones I've made before will work this way as well. Great to snuggle your nose in on those really cold days.
This is a new style a tried. I loved the yarn but there wasn't as much yardage in it so I attempted more of a collar scarflett and I really like how it turned out.
Here's one of the recent hats I listed. I've made a few of these and hopefully next year I'll have more instock. My boy loves his hat like this which says a lot because he really hates hats. I have a friend who bought some of these hats too and her boy wears his hat in the house.

Crazy December

I think December is busy for most people. It's been a bit insane for me, but I love being busy.

Here are a few things that have come off my hook in December:
