New Boy Visor Beanie

I was making some hats to drop off at the local store and made up this cute visor beanie in a misty grey and apple green. I love the colours together. This is one I'd like to make to get photos taking to add to my iCraft and Etsy shops. Maybe one day! lol

Here's the latest batch of hats I made to bring to the store. They sold out of the last batch I brought them within 3 weeks! It's been a busy summer.

Hmmm - What have I done lately

I just realized it's been awhile since my last post. I've been steadily working on hats and have completed some pretty cute ones. Right now besides working on a steady stream of orders I'm also working on some hats to send to photographers. Here are a few pictures of some of the hats I've completed recently.
These are really sweet. And I love the soft colors. I will eventually make these in larger sizes as well. These are just itty bitty, perfect for a shower gift! I've already listed these in my Etsy shop.

And something that I've been trying to figure out for awhile but finally put some time into it. Here's a typical visor beanie and the flower is detachable! So you can move it around, change it up and even where just the flower in your hair if that's what you'd like:)

Waiting for my latte to cool

I figured I'd post some recent pictures of hats I've made while my latte cools enough to sip:

I had started this one with the intention of making it a size 2-4T. But it turned into an ooops. I must have skipped a stitch. So it now belongs to a sweet girl I know:)

I made this hat awhile ago, but as I do with so many hats it sat in my hat pile without being finished. So I finally darned in the ends and added a flower.

More Hats

All the hats I've been making lately seem to be turning out smaller then I intend. I think I'll have to go up to a bigger hook next time.

Here are two beanies. The pictures don't show their true colours very well, everything has a bit of a blue ting in the picture. One of the beanies is blue and the other is done with variegated cotton that reminds me of sherbert.

Here's a skull hat I made. It's intended for a girl around 7, I think. I should measure it to be sure. It's actually purple, but looks blue in this picture. Not sure if I'll make it again. Kind of looks like a bell in this picture?!?!

The jury is still out on this next one. I attempted to do a monograph on the hat. This was my first attempt, which I think I'll rip out and try to do it with a double strand instead. I'm also wondering if I should use a brighter shade of pink too? Hmmmm decisions.

And lastly, here's a kerchief I made. I messed it up so Syd gets to claim it as her own. A minor mess up that I'm sure most wouldn't notice, but I do, so I doesn't go in the sale bin! Which is fine because she loves it and has been wearing it all the time.
